The Hearing Voices Group offered at McLean Hospital is a non-clinical group focused on creating a safe and welcoming environment for all participants within the local community who have interest of talking about and/or learning more about their experiences with hearing voices or any type of experience with unusual perceptions surrounding senses such as tactile, olfactory, and visual. The group provides the opportunity to share, listen, and find support with others who have had similar experiences in a judgment-free zone where your experiences are validated. Hearing voices is as common as being left-handed and everyone is encouraged to talk to their voices and also to talk about their voices if they so choose and to find appropriate strategies by which to understand and integrate their experiences into their everyday lives. This is a non-clinical group where no attendance is taken and members are encouraged to come and go as they find fit for their own well-being.

If you have MassHealth and need a PT-1 ride to be able to attend the group, feel free to reach out as well and we can help try and set this up for you.
