This Hearing Voices Network group is designed to encourage the sharing of voice hearing experiences free from judgement. An HVN group's primary purpose is to help lessen the burden of the stigma involved with disclosure and, to explore the underlying meaning of our experiences.
A group size of 2-5 participants is common although, we have room for man more. The first half of the group is for voice hearers only, in order to accommodate those who are only comfortable with other voice-hearers. Please call one day in advance to ensure space for everyone.
Family members and other supporters are asked to attend group after the half-time break although, if for any reason a member wishes that their supporter not attend, this is always honored to ensure freedom of expression.
